Lauren Peters

Vice Chair Design

Major: Industrial Design

Lauren Peters is a junior at the University of Houston majoring in Industrial Design with a minor in Energy and Sustainability. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of Design for the Energy Coalition. She is a member of the Honors College and serves as the Vice President of the Student Industrial Design Society of America (SIDSA). Lauren also works as a research assistant in the Interior Architecture Department and continues to explore interdisciplinary research as a way to solve complex problems and broaden the scope of design.

As a member of the Energy Coalition board, Lauren’s goal is to continually provide connections between UH students and professionals, and to build up the identity and impact of the Energy Coalition as the University of Houston’s largest student organization.
