Sustainable Energy Community Competition

1st Place Total Prize Money: $6,250

Open to UH students from ALL academic disciplines & classifications.

This SEC Competition will challenge interdisciplinary teams of UH students to develop innovative solutions to enhance the quality of life in the community through energy efficiencies. Participants will create a building design that is energy and cost efficient for low-income communities. The design should have measurable benefits, be practical, and implementable. The participants will be mentored by industry subject matter experts and will present both a written document and an oral presentation to a panel of judges selected by UH.
