She is a proud recipient of the Terry scholarship, which is a 4-year scholarship awarded based on academic achievement and demonstrated leadership. As a Terry scholar, she is committed to giving back to the community and enjoys spending her time volunteering.

Mariam spent her previous semester completing a co-op at Albemarle Corporation. She worked at a plant in Pasadena, TX as a Technology Resources intern. This past summer, she also had the opportunity to work in Silicon Valley as a Project Engineering intern with Air Liquide Advanced Materials. Her work experience has taught her more about plant operations and process controls. She plans on working in industry after graduating. After gaining a few years of experience, Mariam hopes to pursue her MBA.

Mariam enjoys keeping busy and loves to travel and explore new places. She is excited to share her passion for energy with fellow students and is grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Board.
